PACC was founded as a united Palestinian American group that respects individual differences while seeking common ground.
The center works to advance the standing and connection of Palestinian Americans with the wider Houston community through culture, education, service, and public participation.

Belonging
- Unite and empower the Palestinian American community.
- Establish a Palestinian American cultural center in Houston.
- Develop programs that improve the community's standing and public image.
Culture and learning
- Promote cultural and humanitarian programs that highlight Palestine's rich heritage.
- Introduce non-Palestinians to Palestinian culture and traditions.
- Provide support and mentorship to students and student groups.
Dignity and solidarity
- Advocate for equality, dignity, freedom, and the inalienable rights of Palestinians.
- Support charities and organizations that assist Palestinians and Palestinian causes.
- Work with other communities and offer support when possible.

The first conversations
Community members began organizing around a shared vision for Palestinian cultural life in Houston.
PACC takes form
The Palestinian American Cultural Center formed as a united Houston organization.
First gala and festival
PACC held its first gala and launched the public festival that became its flagship gathering.

Houston marked a decade of Palestinian festival culture, food, music, art, and community.
